Had a wonderful Christmas vacation at an old-fashioned hotel in southern Norway. Our room was spacious and cozy, with comfortable beds perfect for a good night's rest. The location was amazing, as we were just steps away from all the holiday festivities, including the Christmas markets and charming local shops. The staff were friendly and helpful, offering great advice on where to go and providing us with plenty of heated blankets to keep us warm during the cold winter nights.
The lack of in-room amenities such as serviettes and milk for tea. It would also have been nice to have instant coffee available in the room for the coffee drinkers.

the breakfast was the best part of my stay, with freshly baked bread and scrambled eggs that tasted heavenly. the rooms were beautifully decorated, and it felt like I was living in luxury. Another advantage was the proximity to key locations, which made it easy for me to move around.
the wifi was promised but turned out to be completely unstable, making it almost impossible to stay connected.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautifully restored old house near the harbour. The host was knowledgeable, helpful, and even provided us with a delicious breakfast featuring the best scrambled eggs we've ever had. The house felt like a museum, with each room uniquely furnished and full of charm. Despite a small bathroom, the location and atmosphere made up for it. We would definitely visit again. I highly recommend this hotel for its excellent location, breakfast, and historic ambiance.
